Playa de las Vistas

850m golden sand beach in Los Cristianos. Blue Flag. Calm waters (breakwater) - perfect for families with kids. Artificial island with fountain. Seafront promenade with restaurants. Accessible. Lifeguards. Sunbeds ~€12. FREE.

Playa de las Vistas is one of the most popular and best-equipped beaches in south Tenerife. 850 meters of fine golden sand (imported from the seabed), 80 meters wide. A breakwater protects it from waves, creating super calm water perfect for kids. In the center of the beach: an artificial island with a fountain shooting jets of water into the sky - a unique feature. Blue Flag for years running thanks to water quality and services. A huge seafront promenade connects it to Playa de Los Cristianos (to the right) and El Camisón / Playa de las Américas (to the left). The promenade is the largest barrier-free pedestrian area in Europe - packed with restaurants, bars, chiringuitos and shops. Fully wheelchair accessible (ramps, walkways, adapted showers, reserved parking). Lifeguards and Red Cross on duty. Sunbeds and umbrellas for rent (~€12 for 2 loungers + umbrella). Water sports available.

Insider tip

THE family beach of south Tenerife - the breakwater makes the water super calm for kids. Not a wild or natural beach (it's artificial and touristy), but it's comfortable, safe, and has everything you need. The seafront promenade is great for sunset walks - kilometers of restaurants all the way to Las Américas. The port parking (PARKIA) is your best option - don't waste time looking for street parking. On clear days you can see La Gomera and El Hierro from the promenade. If you want a wilder, more tranquil beach: La Tejita is a 15 min drive.

History

Artificial beach created for tourism. Golden sand imported from the seabed. Multiple Blue Flag awards. AENOR quality certified. Accessible Beach certified by the Cabildo de Tenerife.

Suggested route
